Privacy Policy
Unofficial. This product is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or related to Tangem AG. It cannot access a Tangem card, hold keys, sign messages, or move funds.
Who this covers
This policy applies to:
- the website at tangemfolio.redinternet.xyz (landing page and the read-only wallet viewer); and
- the Chrome extension Tangem: Sync Assets, which opens that wallet viewer in a new tab.
Both are a single, read-only lookup tool. There is no user account and no application server that stores your holdings.
Single purpose
Show a public, read-only overview (balances, holdings, recent activity) for a wallet address you paste, using public blockchain explorers. The extension’s only job is to open that viewer.
Data we collect
We do not run an account system, analytics suite, advertising network, or telemetry. We do not sell data. We do not ask for names, emails, recovery phrases, PINs, or private keys.
The hosted pages are static files. Like any website, the web server may keep ordinary access logs (IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer, user agent) for security and operations. If you open a viewer URL that includes ?address=…, that address may appear in those logs. Logs are not used for marketing or profiling, and they are not combined into a user profile.
Data stored on your device
Preferences stay in your browser only:
- Extension —
chrome.storage.local: last / recent addresses, optional labels, theme and viewer settings, a local cache of the last overview, and (if you set it) a dashboard URL override. - Website — the same kind of data in the browser’s
localStorage, because the viewer runs in the tab, not inside the extension.
This data is never uploaded to us. Clear it by using in-page controls, clearing site data, or uninstalling the extension.
What happens when you look something up
Your browser sends HTTPS GET requests directly to public Blockscout explorers for the address you enter (balances, tokens, transactions, and related public metadata). Token images may load from URLs those explorers provide.
Those explorers are independent third parties. They receive the request from your device (including your IP address and the public address you queried). Their handling of that traffic is governed by their own policies, not ours. Hosts currently used include:

- celo.blockscout.com
The landing and viewer pages also load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may see that your browser requested those font files.
The browser extension
Clicking the toolbar icon opens tangemfolio.redinternet.xyz/extension.html in a new tab. If a last address is saved locally, it is appended as a query parameter so the viewer can reopen the same overview.
The extension does not inject scripts into other websites. It does not read the content of other tabs.
Permission
- storage — save local preferences and the last address on the device, so the toolbar icon can reopen your overview. Nothing else.
No host permissions, clipboard permission, identity permission, or “read browsing history” permission are used.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The site may use a service worker to cache its own static files for faster reloads. Explorer responses are not cached by that worker.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell, rent, or share a user database — we do not keep one. Third parties listed above receive only what your browser sends them in the ordinary course of loading the page or looking up a public address.
Children
This is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change. The current version is always at this URL.
